Terms and Conditions

Welcome to Adventist Explorers, operated by APEAKZ Creation ("we", "us", or "our"). These Terms and Conditions ("Terms") govern your use of the Adventist Explorers mobile application, website, and related services (the "Service").

By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

1. Who we are

APEAKZ Creation is based in the Philippines. Adventist Explorers is an independent evangelism and Bible-study project aligned with Seventh-day Adventist teachings. It is not an official application, website, or ministry of the Seventh-day Adventist Church, or of any conference, union, or division.

2. Eligibility

You may use the Service if you can form a binding contract under the laws of your country, or if a parent, guardian, or authorized Guide supervises your use. If you create an account for a minor, you confirm that you have authority to do so and that you accept these Terms on their behalf.

3. Accounts

You must provide accurate information and keep your login details secure. You are responsible for activity under your account. Please notify us promptly if you believe your account has been misused.

Guide and Admin access is limited to people we authorize. We may change roles or access when needed to operate the program safely.

4. Acceptable use

You agree to use the Service only for lawful, personal, non-commercial purposes connected to the program. You must not:

  • Attempt unauthorized access to accounts, data, or systems
  • Interfere with or disrupt the Service
  • Copy, scrape, or redistribute lessons, exams, or other content except as we allow
  • Post or transmit harmful, abusive, fraudulent, or otherwise inappropriate content
  • Impersonate another person or misrepresent your role

5. Content and intellectual property

Lessons, graphics, logos, badges, and other materials in the Service are owned by APEAKZ Creation or its licensors, or are used under applicable licenses. We do not claim ownership of the Bible text itself.

You may use content in the Service for personal study. You may not copy, sell, or commercially exploit it without our written permission.

If you submit feedback or suggestions, we may use them without obligation to you.

6. Program features

The Service may include lessons, exams, daily verses, badges, Guide and Explorer relationships, notifications, and tools such as Church Finder. Features may change. Some tools, including maps and location, depend on third-party services and on permissions you grant on your device.

7. Privacy

We process personal data as described in our Privacy Policy. By using the Service, you acknowledge that policy. The same Privacy Policy applies to the mobile application and the website.

8. Disclaimers

The Service is provided for educational and spiritual encouragement. It is not a substitute for pastoral care, professional advice, or official church instruction.

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available." To the fullest extent permitted by law, we disclaim warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and uninterrupted or error-free operation.

9. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, APEAKZ Creation and its operators are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages, or for loss of data, arising from your use of the Service. Our total liability for any claim relating to the Service is limited to the amount you paid us for the Service in the twelve months before the claim, or zero if the Service is provided free of charge.

10. Termination

You may stop using the Service and delete your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate access if you violate these Terms, if required by law, or if we discontinue the Service. Provisions that should survive termination - including intellectual property, disclaimers, and limitation of liability - will remain in effect.

11. Changes

We may update these Terms from time to time. We will revise the "Last updated" date at the top. Continued use of the Service after changes means you accept the updated Terms.

12. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of the Philippines, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. Courts in the Philippines will have jurisdiction over disputes, except where applicable law gives you a non-waivable right to other courts.
